racial discrimination

racism has been an issue in American since before it was declared a country. people have been hated and mistreated due to their race for centuries. racism in america has become a much smaller problem in then it has been in the past, but it is not completely gone, nor do i think it ever will be. we recently just got done voting in our future president, donald trump. donald has  been said that he wants to ban muslims from entering the US, which by definition isnt racist because being muslim isnt a race, it is a religion.  people often forget this fact. even though it isnt racist to ban a certain religion from our country, it does take some sort or hatred to say or do so. trump was endorsed by the KKK which is a group of white racist Americans. in an article by pete holley he say “Among the small number of American news papers that has embraced Donald Trumps campaign, there is one, in particular, that stands out. its called the Crusader-and it is one of the most prominent newspapers of the Ku Klux Klan.” our future president has been endorsed by the biggest racist party, if that doesnt scare you i dont know could.

first semester reflection

this semester has been one of, if not my favorite semester out of all my years at vista high. it was great to meet so many wonderful new people including my new teachers. I have grown this year through teachers pushing me to do more work, if any at all because i have slacked off way to much. I am looking forward to next semester because it will be a new beginning for me; i cant wait to show my teachers what i am truly capable of.
